It is an important topic of the domestic and international basic education reform to combine the physics history with the physics teaching. The traditional physics teaching, which focuses on logical approaches, neglects the process of scientific knowledge construction. It doesn't take scientific methodology seriously and neglects students' interests, attitudes, emotions and cultivation of creative ability. This does harm to the comprehension of nature of science and the cultivation of science spirit and the creative ability. The combination of the physics history with the physics teaching is a beneficial way for innovating the traditional physics teaching. In the United States, both Science for all Americans and National science education standard pay much attention to "nature of science" and "perspective of history". The standpoint of "two cultures" problem of C. P. Snow and "make the science history an important bridge linking science culture with humanity culture "of G Sarton make it emphasized increasingly to integrate science history (containing science philosophy) into the science teaching.This dissertation analyzes the drawbacks of the traditional teaching and current condition of the domestic and international researches on the combination of the physics history with the physics teaching, and puts forward the research topic: theoretical and practical research of the combination of the physics history with the physics teaching. The dissertation designs its own research approach. In addition to this part of introduction, the dissertation includes five parts.The first chapter addresses the necessity of the combination of physics history with physics teaching. The chapter begins with the discussion of the educational value of combining the physics history with physics teaching, and elaborates the function of the integration of the physics history in cultivating the students' scientific literacy, creative quality and emotion, attitude and values. These are the analysis of the "should-be" value of the physics history. Then, the dissertation begins the students' need analysis of the combination of the physics history with physics teaching. The investigation tells us the need condition of most students to the combination of the physics history with physics teaching. The dissertation investigates the situation of combining the physics history with the university physics teaching materials in 1980s and 1990s and middle school physics teaching materials at present in our country andidentifies the advantages and disadvantages of the combination of physics history with physics teaching in our country. The dissertation analyzes in detail the quasi history phenomenon within the physics teaching and the reasons of the phenomenon, and explores the ways to overcome the quasi history problem and corresponding teachers' prerequisite expertise in science and humanities. Chapter one can be regarded as the profound exposition of value of the research.Chapter two constructs the theoretical foundations of combining the physics history with the physics teaching. This chapter is the basis of combing the physics history with the physics teaching. Firstly, this combination problem has been discussed on the basis of J. Piaget's cognitive development theory and T. S. Kuhn's scientific development theory. Educational practice should keep unanimity with the rules of scientific development and pay attention to the application of the physics history in physics teaching. Different teaching methods should be adopted according to different levels of students' development and different kinds of knowledge. Secondly, relations between the structuralism and physics teaching illustrate that the physics history can play the role of "advanced organizer" in improving the transfer ability. Moreover, the theory of recapitulation of physics announces the inherent similarity between the process of physics research and the process of physics conception learning.
