This paper refers to some theoretical and practical researches on rural junior middle school teachers' professional development which were written by domestic and foreign scholars,and it combines with the actual situation of rural junior middle school teachers' professional development in our country.Taking an example of five rural junior middle schools of Heze,it analyses the current situation and problems of the power of rural junior middle school teachers' professional development,and then put forward some corresponding countermeasures.This paper mainly uses the literature and the survey methods.Firstly,based on the literature review and theoretical analysis of the intrinsic motivation of the rural junior middle school teachers' professional development,this paper builds the framework of it.Secondly,based on the empirical investigation and analysis,this paper sum up three key factors which impact the motivation of the rural junior middle school teachers' professional development.These factors are needs of survival,needs of mutual relationship,needs of self actualization.Thirdly,this paper deeply reveals the intrinsic motivation of the rural junior middle school teachers' professional development after knowing the actual situation of five rural junior middle school teachers in Heze.This research studies the cause of the lack of teachers' motivation from the education administration,school management and teachers' own,because of the great contrast between the high requirements of rural junior middle school teachers and the real income stunted the motive force of the rural junior high school teacher's professional development;there is something wrong with rural junior imiddle school:the management authority and pay no attention to the cultivation of teachers' team consciousness,the problems lead to lack of sense of belonging in rural teachers' professional development;lack of the profound of self-value recognition and lack ofsufficient interest of teaching among the rural middle school teachers lead to a lower sense of self efficacy.In the end,this research puts forward to countermeasures to improve the motivation of junior middle school teachers' professional development in rural areas.Firstly,improve the salary and welfare of rural junior middle school teachers.Secondly,build a reasonable and standardized promotional system.Thirdly,school leaders should update the ideas of management and encourage teachers to actively participate the school management.Fourthly,develop the junior high school teachers' team cooperation consciousness in rural areas.Fifthly,improve the teachers' interest in teaching.Sixthly,teachers should recognize their own value.
