| In 1980 s, Chinese women's volleyball team with “ five successive championships”, dominated the world ranked altar, with the role of national spirit in the hearts. After experiencing the trough until 2004, Chinese women's volleyball team,for its hard work, never saying die spirit, won the Athens Olympic champion after an absence of 20 years. In 2015, Chinese women's volleyball team won the women's volleyball World Cup again after the Athens Olympic champion. During the development of Volleyball, the information dissemination is mainly by means of newspapers, news, television, Internet and other mass media platforms, showing the unique charm and culture of volleyball. At this stage, the volleyball sport is as one of the “three ball” in China, the popularity is not optimistic, especially in the underdeveloped areas of Gansu Province. Mass Media can disseminate information effectively about volleyball and attract the attention of college students, and the participation of volleyball, as a result to establish a good foundation for the mass popularity of volleyball. Thus improving the level of volleyball and expand the industrial scale of volleyball, promoting the popularization of college volleyball sports in Gansu province, enhance the popularity.In this paper, through collecting a large number of relevant data, using literature data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, adopting the method of stratified sampling to survey different region, grade and liberal arts or science colleges and universities in Gansu province,having a comprehensive understanding of university students' knowing of volleyball sport in Gansu province, the degree of interests, participation motivation and college students use media channels to obtain information dissemination, etc. To study the volleyball, pinpoint the spread reason of the mass media of the colleges and universities in Gansu province volleyball movement, put forward effective countermeasures for volleyball development and dissemination in colleges and universities in Gansu province, provide a certain basis for improving the volleyball theory system. Drawing the following conclusions:1. The exercise time and frequency of college students in Gansu Province fits thestandard of basic sports population, but the number of athletes of volleyball is smaller than other sports', accounting for 29.6% of the total.2. College Students participate volleyball is in fewer number in Gansu Province,with less understanding and interest, the atmosphere of volleyball sport in Gansu province colleges is weaker, resulting a cold volleyball campus.3. The motives of college students follow volleyball information becomes diversified, they are interests of volleyball, understanding the development trends,growth the knowledge about volleyball, enrich and regulate leisure life and increased the chance of social interaction.4. The source of volleyball knowledge of college students in Gansu province shows multiple channels, mainly are the interaction among students, self-study from books, teaching from PE teachers, media dissemination, all these could improve volleyball campus culture.5. College Students in Gansu Province believe the credibility of mass media sports information dissemination, the most credible one is television media, but more students like the convenience and meaningful background material of mass media.6. College students in Gansu Province obtain volleyball information during the month through newspapers, sports periodicals, radio, television, Internet and other media of information, we found less volleyball information in the mass media, their concern of volleyball is not high, the mass media cannot really dig out the highlights of volleyball, cannot attract the attention of college students.7. Radio, television and online media have more advantages of volleyball information transmission in Gansu province, the advantage is that the students can easily access volleyball information though voice, video, film and television. The newspapers, periodicals show the advantages of sports transmission not yet to,because the issue of newspaper and the journal is longer; students are not interested in lots of texts.8. Of the causes of volleyball information dissemination in the college in Gansu province, wo should enhance the network media information dissemination, establish special university community network, the university ranked association network,campus volleyball club network, focus on the use of “weixin” resources, absorb allcolleges and universities and broad participation of college students of volleyball in Gansu province.9. In the electronic media cause of the analysis of colleges volleyball dissemination of information: first, the highest penetration is television media.Second, the TV broadcast media is more accurate. Third, the campus radio broadcast is common, but s less volleyball ports information dissemination.10. In the cause of Gansu college volleyball print media of dissemination information: First, newspapers, books, journals have powerful information storage capacity, easy to carry, easy to store. Secondly, the publication date of these types of media is cyclical.Third,colleges and universities in Gansu province should set up more special school volleyball associations and clubs,mobilize more students participate the community volleyball club in the form of posters.According to the above with the aid of the mass media dissemination of volleyball sports in colleges and universities in Gansu province,we put forward the following suggestions:1. To build a government-led pattern for the promotion and dissemination of information volleyball.2. To enhance cooperation between the association and the different media.3. Cultivating the advantage of volleyball sports spread, innovation of the the spread content.4. Strengthening the cooperation with sponsors, developing industrial campus volleyball tournament.5. Building campus volleyball club,to promote the development of campus volleyball.6. With the help of mass media, to improve the competition system and increase the games played in colleges universities. |
