A Study On The Ways And Effects Of Taekwondo 's Movement In Colleges And Universities In

In recent years, the development of taekwondo within universities of our country has been in a standstill. In order to realize the popularization and continuous development of taekwondo in colleges, this article analyses the route of transmission and effects of taekwondo in Chongqing’s universities, and explores its law of development and effective transmission routes for giving an example for the popularization and continuous development of taekwondo within universities of our country.This article chiefly analyses the route of transmission and effects of taekwondo in universities of Chongqing by means of document literature, field methods, questionnaire surveys, mathematical statistics, with the theme of the popularization of taekwondo in universities, and points out problems during the process of transmission, and then puts forward solutions and provides consultations for the transmission and development of taekwondo in universities.Chapter 1 is the foreword, introducing the basis and values of this research. Chapter 2 illustrates the objects and methods of it. Chapter 3 is about the transmission theory, the culture and value, the current development situation of taekwondo in Chongqing’s universities, and about the analysis of major transmission routes and effects of taekwondo, besides it is also about the problems of taekwondo’s development in universities of Chongqing. While, this article mainly focus on the analysis of major transmission routes and effects of taekwondo in universities of Chongqing. Chapter 4 is about the summary and personal suggestions. Study concluded that:(1) The lack of space and equipment, the shortage of faculty and professional teachers for taekwondo in universities of Chongqing. The titles of faculty are almost covered by teaching assistants and lecturers, especially by young and middle-aged teachers. What’s worse, students have a low degree of recognition for teachers.(2) The competitions in universities of Chongqing are mainly for internal communication. The Southwest University and the Chongqing University ofTechnology both have comparatively comprehensive means for taekwondo development, and they have their own taekwondo teams. However, in other universities, they have limited ways for taekwondo development, which can not meet the need of students.(3) Universities of Chongqing spread taekwondo chiefly by means of curriculum, extracurricular activities, competitions, and opening ceremony performances on school sports meeting. But, only The Southwest University and the Chongqing University of Technology both have widespread ways, the other universities frequently use taekwondo course and extracurricular activities.(4) Broadcast is chiefly used for taekwondo transmission among the media of mass communication. Whereas, newspapers and periodicals, books and internet television are seldom used.(5) Chongqing university taekwondo movement on college students’ ideological and moral, behavior, and the spread of tae kwon do have a good knowledge and skills, the effect of the comprehensive quality of college students have a larger increase, but so far there is lack of teachers, to form a single, and provide students less chance to participate in the official taekwondo competition.
