This paper is published in the March 2007 second edition of people's education press "ordinary high school curriculum standard experimental Chinese textbook(Compulsory)" in classical Chinese as the research object. PEP language teaching materials is our language teaching in secondary schools in most common use of the most widely used textbook, the removal of materials in classical Chinese synonymous verbs as the research object, in the reference and absorption before the results of the experience of scholars, in lexicology,semantics, grammar, and exegesis theory as a guide, from the angle of critical interpretation of ancient texts reveal synonymous verb group internal lexicon formation principle, from the lexical semantics and pragmatics study, grammar angle analysis of synonymous verbs each group between the semantic similarities and differences, in order to explore the middle school writings in classical style synonymous with scientific and systematic, is also looking forward to provide reliability for the views of arrangement of teachers and teaching materials in the future.This paper is divided into the following sections:The first chapter mainly introduces the research trends and achievements of this topic,the purpose and value of the research, the main content, the theory and methods of the research.In the second chapter, we first describe the basic concepts of classical Chinese synonyms,such as the definition of synonyms, the basis and method of determination, the difference between Chinese synonym and modern Chinese synonym. The second is to classify and make special research on the verb group of classical Chinese. For each verb synonym group,pointed out the first in each group the same semantic, then detailed analysis each synonym dynamic differences between groups, mainly from the following aspects to explore: the lexical pragmatic, color meaning, commendatory and derogatory meaning, conceptual meaning, vocabulary extension and evolution, and so on.In the third chapter, from four aspects: the summary of ancient Chinese synonyms and the writings in classical Chinese teaching in middle school, one is to improve the efficiency and quality of writings in classical Chinese teaching, alleviate student prose study burden,three is to cultivate the students' emotion of ancient writings, four is to improve students' Chinese level.
