| The promotion of the concept of the new curriculum implementation bring vitality to the high school chemistry teaching, but also to the practice of different in various regions and the actual teaching environment of each school of chemistry teachers in the teaching process brought challenges and tests. This paper hope that through the investigation on the present situation of Chemistry Teaching in the new curriculum in senior high school in Enshi, puts forward the effectiveness and pertinence of teaching strategies, to further improve the quality of Chemistry Teaching in senior high school in Enshi city. Investigation and study mainly through three developmental perspective and: one is teachers and students conducted a questionnaire survey; the second is to interview some teachers; the third is to observe some of the teachers’ classroom teaching.The first part of the paper is to introduce the background and theory of the study. The second part is about the investigation of the present situation of high school chemistry teaching in Enshi city of Hubei province. The research is conducted in three general senior high schools in Enshi city. Questionnaire mainly around the "interest in learning chemistry", "student learning pattern and its transformation", "teaching method", "experimental teaching development situation and other issues; The second part of the paper mainly expounds the related theoretical basis.Statistical analysis of the questionnaire and interviews found that since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, chemistry teaching achieve long-term progress, but also exposed the problems and difficulties in the actual teaching process, the students learning chemistry interest is generally not too high, lack of motivation; the second is the learning mode is single, students used to rely on teachers and memory, and a lot of practice as an important means of learning chemistry, to change the way to learn to be teachers to further guidance. Three is some teachers in the actual teaching tendency one-way teaching, focusing on the cultivation of students’ knowledge and skills. Four is the new teaching material adaptability is not strong, independent learning, cooperative inquiry learning is a mere formality. Five is to ignore the chemistry experiment teaching, the theory is strong, the lack of life and social teaching resources.The third part of the thesis is put forward aiming at the problems of chemistry teaching present situation investigation of the reaction of the increase in Enshi City high school chemistry teaching quality related teaching strategies:one is to change the teaching idea, teaching students in accordance of their aptitude, not only to enhance the teaching ability of teachers, but also to foster learning students as the main body of teaching ideas, respect for individual differences, for different levels of students teaching students in accordance of their aptitude. Second, reorganizing the teaching contents, teaching by learning, changing the way of learning, a reasonable choice of teaching strategies and teaching methods -- teaching method, inquiry method, cooperative learning and independent learning, independent, cooperation and inquiry learning implement.
