An Investigation And Analysis On Current Situation Of University Students' Informal Learning In The Mobile Internet Environment

In today's world,knowledge explosion makes traditional education system unsatisfied university students' need for different knowledge.Learning styles and learning beliefs of university students have changed greatly.In recent years,efforts were intensified to the mobile infrastructure.The internet technology develops continuously and perfectly.With the promotion of performance of wireless communication sets,more and more people use wireless internet.Informal learning has gradually come into university students' perspective and has aroused general concern.Informal learning is self-initiated which is a new learning method and it needs self-regulation and self-supervision.Informal learning in the mobile Internet environment has many advantages which becomes a mainstream way of informal learning style for university students."fragmented knowledge" inevitably occurs.Mobile internet make learning more prone to occur and the means and ways become richer and diversified.The students can break through the limitation of time and space.By informal learning university students can improve their own professionalism and comprehensive qualities.Thus,the present study has great significance.The research for informal learning which is a hot spot and focus to academic researchers is very highly worth researching and realizing.By reading pertinent literature,the author found that most research on informal learning remain at the theoretical level,from the empirical point of view of university students' informal learning that based on mobile internet are rarely in China.Therefore,the thesis then concentrated for this research.The major issues of this study focus on the following questions:What's the connotation of informal learning in the mobile internet environment?;How is the current situation of informal learning of university students in the mobile environment?;What's the key influence factors to university students' informal learning in the mobile internet?;What's the relationship between the key influence factors to informal learning and informal learning results?;How to improve the informal results?.Hoping that the research can do a certain help to university students' informal learning.This paper may offer some references for scholars engaged in research on informal learning.Firstly,on basis of consulting related documents and literature,the thesis introduces the research background,research content,research significance,research program and research situation at home and abroad.Then,it introduces related concepts of informal learning,the theoretical basis and relevant research related with this paper,connotation of informal learning.The related concepts of informal learning include the definition of informal learning,the informal learning characteristic and the forms of informal learning.The theoretical basis and relevant research related with this paper includes constructivism learning theory,humanistic theory,situated learning theory and mobile learning theory.Secondly,on the basis of the previous research results,combing the characteristic of the mobile internet,the thesis summarizes the key influence factors to university students' informal learning in the mobile internet which includes learners,learning environment and learning resources.According to the preliminary questionnaires results,it has a high reliability and validity.Then the author did large-scale taste test.Statistic and analysis for the data from the final questionnaires was carried out.It make us clear that how is the university students'learning circumstances in the mobile environment.To make it clear that what is the relationship the key influence factors to informal learning and informal learning results,questionnaires were used SPSS correlation analysis and regression analysis.The last part analyzes the shortcomings of university students' informal learning in mobile environment and puts forward some proposals to promote the student's better study in mobile environment by a qualitative research and a quantitative research.
