Function is one of the main contents of mathematics curriculum in senior high school,and also becomes a new hotspot of college entrance examination in recent years,many teaching contents appeared according to it. However, the concept of function in the first grad is the starting point of learning function.In a sense,whether the students learn well or badly determines to the following study of function contents is a success or failure.Based on the importance and complexity of function concept, from the perspective of students and teachers,under the guidance of the relevant theories, this study investigats it with the document method, the questionnaire survey method,the interviewing method and the case studying method,aiming to analyse some problems existing in teaching and thus put forward some practical and efficient measures.A randomly selected survey of 252 students from 4 classes of the first grade in Qin'an senior high school shows us the present situation of students' learning of the concept of function is: They have the wrong understanding of function in definition,form,domain,range and utilization. Above all, this paper analyses the cause of the remaining question in the study of function concept.By observing the function of the concept of classroom teaching and the combination of teacher interviews found that function concept teaching problems are: introduce the concept of the creation of scenarios is not in place; the explaination of function concept is not thorough; ignoring the dominant position of students; lack inquiry function concept generation process; classroom summary weak link. And a function for high-concept teaching analyzes the causes of the problems.Finally aiming at the existing problems in the teaching of teachers,we put forward the corresponding strategy of function concept teaching. Students' aspects are: To build a good study habits; enhance the understanding of the nature of function definition; To build the the teaching of number-shape combination methodology; To strengthen students' knowledge of migration; To build a good cohesion of junior and senior high school. Teachers' aspects are: Focus on teaching the creation of scenarios to understand the function concept in problem situations; Set up Teaching View awareness, theoretical concept of teaching; spiral, multi-faceted, multi-angle to help students understand the function concept; With the specific examples, cracks abstract symbol; proper integration into the history of mathematics, improve classroom quality; Focus on the combination of information technology.
