| Function is the core of mathematics learning.It is not only a main line of high school mathematics,but also the foundation of higher mathematics.But in practical teaching,the concept of function is one of the difficulties for students to understand.What are the reasons that students have difficulty learning functions?What are the specific difficulties in understanding?In order to improve students' understanding of the concept of function,what measures should teachers take in teaching?In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the research and takes Haikou Experimental Middle School as an example to carry out the investigation.First of all,this paper reviews the literature related to the teaching and learning of the concept of function to lay a theoretical foundation for the following research.Secondly,through questionnaire and interview survey,the current haikou experimental high school students understand the concept of function.The survey shows that,Students are not interested in learning function concepts;Students' understanding of function concept is divided;Some students do not have a comprehensive understanding of the concept of function,Reflected in the function symbol language understanding is not in place;The ability to solve functional concept problems related to real life needs to be improved.In the end,in view of the problems reflected in the above research,this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions on how to improve students' understanding of the concept of function:Pay attention to the generation process of the concept of presentation function,emphasis on the interpretation of symbolic language,targeted variant training of design function concept,combine multimedia information technology for teaching,pay attention to creating situations.This paper is divided into seven parts:the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,reason,content and method of the research,and also points out the purpose and significance of the research.The second part is a review of the existing research,mainly from the teacher's teaching method,students' learning method,and students to understand the concept of function difficulty in these three aspects of literature review.The third part introduces the related theories of mathematical concept teaching,mainly from thegeneral process and basic form of mathematical concept teaching.The fourth part expounds the difference and connection of function teaching in middle and high school,mainly introduces the difference and connection of content,teaching objective and teaching material processing method.The fifth part is the focus of this paper.The teachers and students of Haikou Experimental High School were studied by questionnaire and interview,and the correlation analysis is carried out with the data.In the sixth part,the author puts forward some relevant strategies to improve the effectiveness of the function concept teaching according to the investigation results,and puts forward his own teaching design in combination with the strategies.The seventh part is the reflection of this study,pointing out the shortcomings,as well as the content of the continuing research.To sum up,this study investigated the status quo of function teaching in Haikou Experimental High School,and proposed teaching strategies to improve the effectiveness of teaching. |
