21st century is the era of biology,the development of life science can be described change with each passing day,along with the great achievement biotechnology have made and the deep advancement of new round curriculum reform,the status of biology subject has improved gradually.As a crucial part of biology,experiment gain more and more wide attention.The new curriculum advocate inquiry learning,as an outstanding representative of inquiry teaching models,5E teaching model has its superiority and innovativeness,this paper is a practical study on applying 5E teaching model in junior high school biological experiment teaching,intend to enhance biological experimental teaching effectiveness in junior high school by using this model.This study takes biological experiment lesson of four classes in seventh grade of one junior high school as implement object of 5E teaching model,combine methods of classroom observation,interview and case analysis,collect teaching cases by means of cooperating teacher’s classroom observation and author’s teaching practice,then select several typical cases for display and analysis,put forward specific countermeasures and proposals based on existing problems and causes,draw a conclusion at last.This study shows that experimental teaching based on the background of 5E teaching model could arouse students’ learning interest, stimulate learning motivation significantly,increase positiveness of participation and exploration,is beneficial to establish the dominant position of student,timely evaluation can promote the cultivation of students’ learning habit and scientific attitude effectively. Bringing this model into force we should pay attention to the following five details:5E teaching model is an organic whole which connected closely,we’d be excavate the inner link among these steps,avoid becoming a mere formality;let 5E teaching model permeate theory course when instructing experimental teaching by this model,intensify the relation between both one;it’s hard for teacher to reach every aspect of five steps,we’d pointedly strengthen or simplify certain steps when necessarily,improving the fitness between the model and course content by flexible adjustment;teaching model shouldin accordance with learning style,5E model propose positive participation and initiative inquiry,teacher couldn’t do it for students;there is neither one teaching model could fit all classroom,only when teacher pay constantly exploration and practice,can they build the bridge between educational theory and practice by teaching wisdom.
