The general aerobic capacity of college students were tested in order to evaluate the students'cardiopulmonary function and exercise quality has important significance. 1000run is China's current methods for testing the aerobic capacity of college students, the effectiveness of this approach has been questioned by some scholars. Some of the existing test methods in foreign country such as 12min running, 20m shuttle running have been shown, and with respect to 1000m run test scores for, their test scores to evaluate college students aerobic work capacity correlates is higher, but 12min running and 20m shuttle running also exist certain limitations. As early as the beginning of 1990s, the American scholar D. George James began to study on the evaluation of aerobic capacity of college students with treadmill jogging test, and establish the relevant regression equation. However, the domestic research on this treadmill jogging test is still very little. This study based on the results of previous studies, using treadmill jogging test, contrast 1000m run, step test, explore treadmill jogging test for feasibility evaluation of College aerobic work capacity, for evaluation of students with aerobic work capacity to provide reference for further improve and perfect the comprehensive evaluation system for physical health and provide the basis.A total of 70 normal male students in this study were randomly selected in Hunan University, they are 19-22 years old. Using the methods of literature, experiment survey, data statistics and questionnaire survey, to test and investigated the subjects'aerobic work capacity and physical activity time.9 people were selected to carry out 1000m running test, monitoring the changes of blood pressure, blood lactic acid, heart rate and other physiological data. Another 61 people, respectively in power experimental bicycle, step test, treadmill jogging test (set two kinds of moving load, respectively is 8km/h and 11km/h), also recording physiological data, binding in physique test 1000m running results, make a compared and the relevant evaluation index to make correlation analysis of physiological data. The conclusions of this study are:the treadmill jogging test has high correlation coefficient to evaluate college students'aerobic capacity, and its exercise load is appropriate. The treadmill running test is suitable for the measurement and evaluation of aerobic capacity of college students. The 11km/h treadmill jogging test has the maximum correlation coefficient(R=0.74, P<0.01) to evaluate the subjects' maximal oxygen uptake. And 8km/h treadmill jogging test's correlation coefficient is lower(R=0.689, P< 0.01). Treadmill jogging experiment indicated undergraduate aerobic work capacity is higher than that of step test (R=0.670, P< 0.01).However, 1000m run (R=0.646, P< 0.01) used in the evaluation of College aerobic work capacity correlation coefficient is the lowest. This also shows that the D. George James's experimental research, the regression equation has a certain degree of scientific, can be applied to practice.
