Appropriate and rich body language can enhance teaching language iconicity and attract the attention of students;Can active classroom teaching atmosphere,improve students' interest in learning;can pass attention of teachers to students,cause students' positive emotional experience,all of these exert a subtle influence on the students' learning effect.Although more and more teachers have realized the importance of body language,there are still some problems when some teachers use body language in the actual classroom teaching,such as gestures are single,facial expression change less,eye sight is narrow,walking around too much.All of these are not conducive to students' learning.These existing problems are the original source of the author to carry out this study.This study is based on suggested teaching theory,information processing theory and operant conditioning theory.The study integrates use of literature method,observation method and interview method.To develop the Chinese teachers' body language used observing table in primary school,I look up abundant literature and combined with the study of He Kuilian et al and the advice of experts and scholars.The study observes 108 Chinese teachers and interviews ten teachers and ten students in five primary school from A city.And finally presents research results from four aspects that are gesture,facial expressions,sight and proxemics.Through analyse the current situation of Chinese teachers' body language used in primary school,finding the problems,exploring causes of the problems and puting forward feasible improvement measures.This study is divided into six parts.The first part mainly elaborates the problems introduction,the research significance,the research review at home and abroad,the theoretical basis and the definition of related concepts.The second part mainly introduces methods that used in this study.The third part describes the research results that includes observations' results and interviews' results.The fourth part,according to the results of observation and interview,analyses the current situation of Chinese teachers' body language used in primary school,then finds out the problems and explores the causes of the problems.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies that were based on the existing problems and analysis of reasons.The sixth part is the conclusion,innovation and reflection of this study.
