In order to better carry out quality education and to realize the goal of education of health first,the Ministry of education in 1999 will calisthenics expansion for big break sports activities over the years big break sports activities play an important role in primary and middle school sports teaching.In order to understand the Dalian City elementary school big break sports activities to carry out the status qua and the existing problems,this study adopted field survey method,video observation,32 primary schools were randomly selected from Dalian city were big break sports development present situation investigation,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasure.The results are as follows:1.Dalian city all primary schools can be very useful to carry out a large recess sports activities,and actively respond to the requirements of the state.There are 68.8% of the school arranged a big break sports activities time can reach 30 minutes,the foremost school every day to conduct two major physical activities between the morning and afternoon.2.Dalian City schools to carry out the big break sports activities is relatively simple,activities to carry out high is free and broadcasting gymnastics,accounted for the overall 96.9% and 81.3% respectively,carry out is the least queue formation and 15.6% of the total.3.The primary school big break sports activities,the "class queue admission(Music),free activities,broadcast exercises,the characteristics of school operation,back to the classroom" forms of organization accounted for the highest proportion of 53.1%,broadcast gymnastics the colorful sunshine.4.The survey of 32 elementary school physical education teachers and teacher are involved in the big break sports activities,sports teacher is responsible for the organization and management of sports activities during long break,teachers responsible for manage their respective class big break sports activities carried out in an orderly manner.5.In the survey of 32 primary schools are track and field,the highest proportion of 100%;followed by football,basketball,volleyball and badminton courts,the proportion was: 59.4%,40.6%,93.8% and 3.1%.Among them,the track and field in the 200 meter track and field and 300 meters track and field,accounting for 84.4% of the track and field;400 meters track and field and the lowest proportion of 200 meters track and field,only 15.6%.6.The distribution of different sports equipment in the district is quite the same.The equipment is made available at the largest gymnastics equipment,accounting for 52.9%.Followed by basketball equipment,football equipment,volleyball equipment and badminton equipment,respectively,accounted for 29.7%,12.9%,4.2% and 0.3%.The problems are as follows: the time utilization ratio of physical activity is low,and the quality of the activities of the students is reduced.Activity content,form is simple,lack of innovation.Venues,equipment and facilities are not perfect.Management organization is not strict.The overall level is in line.In the face of hate and other environmental changes,the lack of effective measures.In view of the above investigation result and the problem,proposed the following suggestions: to construct the harmonious campus sports atmosphere,to transmit the health joyful idea.Sound management and evaluation agencies,to improve the overall level of sports activities between the big break.School based characteristics and "sports art 2+1",to carry out a variety of activities.Increase capital to purchase sports equipment,improve the lack of venues and facilities.Education departments in the form of inspection of the various schools to track,regularly organize public display activities.
