Research And Implemention Of Outdoor Learning System For Plants Knowledge Expands Based On The Mobile Visual Search

Along with the educational information and the deepening of curriculum reform, quality-oriented education has been received a growing amount of attention. Society has demand for talents with more comprehensive ability of innovation and application; therefore, the traditional teaching mode could not meet learners'needs any more. Learners need to be out of classroom, not confining to the textbook, and be able to combine their knowledge with practice, developing their own ability comprehensively. Outdoor learning with characteristics of new methodology, practical knowledge and interesting learning procedure has gained great popularity, becoming a hot topic in educational study. On the other hands, with ongoing development of Internet technology, mobile visual search technique has become a new access to information, substituting the traditional informational retrieval way and this key search technique is an important support for many outdoor learning processes.This paper has combined outdoor learning with mobile visual search technique together. With outdoor plant knowledge learning as the topic, this paper has developed the research and implemention of outdoor learning system for plants knowledge expands based on the mobile visual search. This learning system not only could provide learners with plant knowledge they are searching for, but also could push relevant information related to the specific plant for learners. Furthermore, with the application of mobile visual search technique, this system could offer the reliable technological guarantee for learners to access information anytime and anywhere during their outdoor learning. This paper includes the following several aspects work.Firstly, this paper introduced the background and significance of outdoor learning research and it's status in domestic and foreign; it also introduced the image pre-processing, image feature extraction and build indexes, similarity measure and mobile client development and other relevant theoretical and technical to develop the research and implemention of outdoor learning system for plants knowledge expands based on the mobile visual search. It also analyzed the functional requirement on the basis of the system development,it involves learning system mobile client module, the server module and the network communication module.Secondly, achieved the function of each module according to the system design, developed the research and implemention of outdoor learning system for plants knowledge expands based on the mobile visual search. It shows the practical application system, illustrating the Institute for Learning system has practical significance and value.
