Scientific inquiry has been one of the most heated topics for both domestic and international scientific education field.It also takes a vital position in our compulsory education curriculum as well as ordinary high school curriculum.The specific researches towards scientific exploration used to be focusing on the definition of conceptions,academic foundation,academic performance,mind training etc,but now we have shifted to how to properly develop scientific exploration in the physics teaching process,which means that we have moved from the fundamental research to the specific practical methods.On the foundation of materials from scientific historical researches,while instructed by the basic principles of scientific exploration,our article takes a deep research on the specific applications of the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry in high school physics education.Through some basic survey on the precedent papers related,according to some practical researches,we have analyzed the academic foundation,performing status as well as designing strategies of the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry.More over,we reconstruct and redesign the cases which is suitable for the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry in the PEP physics textbooks.We have mainly done some researches on the following aspects.Firstly,we deeply analyze the relatedpapers domestically and worldwide,we reorganize the domestic applications of the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry,and research the connotation,academic foundation as well as practicing rules of this teaching mode.Secondly,to associate the theories with the actual practice,under the requirements of the criterion on curriculum,we take PEP physics textbook as the researching material,to analyze and select those parts which are suitable for the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry,at the same time,we have investigated the specific problems when putting this teaching mode into actual practice.Thirdly,on the foundation of the theories from scientific historical researches as well as the actual teaching process,we reorganize and redesign the typical cases in PEP physics textbook,probing the essence and value of the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry.At last,we analyze the results of our researches,summarize the strategies and possible problems when carrying out the teaching mode,meanwhile discuss the disadvantages of our researches.All in all,we take the teaching mode of History of Science-Inquiry as a practical approach when doing scientific explorations.This perspective illustrates the combination of the history of physics and the scientific exploration,it also demonstrates the superiority of the mode as a teaching method,which provides some solid references for the future curriculum reforms.Under the instruction of these theories,the physics teachingprinciples that we draw from the practice,will have a profound instructional influence on the future high school physics teaching process.As a physics teaching in this new era,we should be positive to do researches,make as many efforts as possible to exploit some new teaching approaches for improving our teaching effectiveness as well as efficiency,enhance our reforms in physics teaching from every respect.
