With the in-depth development of the new curriculum reform, elementary education reform in our country also advocates diversified teaching methods, emphasis on scientific inquiry teaching. The research on inquiry teaching has experienced a rapid development process. Inquiry teaching is not only to make the students master the knowledge and foster the basic ability, pay more attention to the process of the students to acquire knowledge and cultivating scientific literacy. But in the scientific inquiry teaching practice also encountered some problems. This is mainly because:on the one hand, the lack of inquiry ideas of the teaching material, on the other hand, teachers in the process of inquiry teaching are lack of experience. In this paper, we put the 《Physics By Inquiry》 into teaching practice:through the analysis of the textbook that contains inquiry teaching thought, find out scientific knowledge of the physical teachers is how to obtain and how to apply, then explore the teaching training in teaching practice, and analyze the data of the study, finally we give the conclusions and hope to bring some enlightenment to the curriculum reform and the implementation of the inquiry teaching.After the determination of the subject, through the consulation of massive literature material, we know the 《Physics By Inquiry》 has great influence in the teaching practice and make clear the background of the textbook、writing ideas, so as to put forward the problem of the research and naturally lead to the research background and current situation of inquiry teaching, which are constituted the first part of this article.The second part briefly introduces the theoretical support to this research, we survey the science education from the point of philosophy and psychology and review the nature of science and the psychological structure of scientific knowledge construction.Followed by the analysis of the structure and contents characteristics of the 《Physics By Inquiry》, we illustrate inquiry ideas of the textbook. These constitute the third part, and are also the basis of the next teaching practice.The fourth part detailed introduces the implementation of the empirical study:make assumptions to the question of the first part and give preliminary basis; formulate the program of the research——experiment method and interview method; explain the ideas of the research——based on the case of the research, get the general conclusion from the special case; carry out the experiment and analyze the data-Finally, we give the conclusions from this topic research and answer the problems raised at the beginning. Sum up the experiences of practice and put forward the enlightenment.
