The research interprets the connotation of the soul-turning from ontology,which includes the philosophy of Plato,Aristotle and Kant's views,it also takes into account the Piaget and Kohlberg's scientific point of views. To enrich the meaning of the soul-turning, it defines what the soul-turning is, the utility of soul-turning and the feasibility of the soul-turning; Soul-turning is also defined by intellect soul, moral soul and aesthetic soul. According to the research of the junior middle school Chinese teacher's soul-turning, discussing their cognitive of soul-turning, cultural accomplishment living condition and philosophical basis, and analysis the problem of these three aspects: intellect, moral and aesthetic. In order to lead the junior middle school Chinese teacher to realize soul-turning, we can provide some feasible suggestions. The goal of the research not only can clarify the soul-turning, but also can take this opportunity to regard the soul-turning as the nature of education. In a way, it is also a research about the nature of education.
