The research on problems in the environment of the Honesty and Credit Education for the college students in China and their countermeasures has been drawing wide attention of the whole society, and the important achievement has been made in this field. In recent years, with the attention paid on the effectiveness of the honesty and credit education at colleges and universities, we have found that the research on the environmental theory of the honesty and credit education still has many weak links. Marxist researchers believe that, the people creating the environment, the same environment also creates the people; the people and the environment could coexist harmoniously with mutual dependence. From the view of practice, the main task of creating the environment of the honesty and credit education is shaping the people who can make unity of individuals and society. The environment of the honesty and credit education is the objective condition in which the honesty and credit education activities are carried out, and success in all these education activities depends on the environment. Broadly speaking, the environment of the honesty and credit education not only includes the environment in which the honesty and credit education is carried out, but also includes the environment which is created for it. The former is macroscopic and unchangeable, which educators must accept and use; but the later is microscopic and changeable, which educators can create a favorable environment.This thesis displays the unified approach of logic and history, theory and reality, from macroscopic view and microscopic view. The basic approaches this thesis followed are theoretical analysis, document study, generalization method, system analysis and comparative approach.The innovation in this thesis is, compared with the previous researches on the environmental optimization of the honesty and credit education for the college students mainly focused on the family environment, the college environment and the social environment, that it offers practical measures for optimizing the environment of the honesty and credit education from four aspects, including the family environment, the social environment, the college environment and the network environment, and it establishs the four-in-one environmental system of the honesty and credit education. The network environment is paralleled with the former three environments, because with the development of technology, the network environment based on We-media and computer multimedia gradually occupies most of the daily life in colleges. As to the college students who are in their adolescent ages, it plays subtle influence on the ideological and political education. Therefore, paying much more attentions on the network environment is one of the innovations in this thesis.This thesis includes three parts: introduction, main body and conclusion, discussing the concepts, the actual status, the problem and the solutions.The first chapter is introduction of this thesis, in which to analyze the topic selection basis, the research ideas, methods, difficulty and innovations, and summarize research status of inland and abroad.The second chapter illustrates the concepts related to the current honesty and credit education, and the ideological and political education, by explaining the connotation and values of honesty and credit, stating the connotation, features and significance of the honesty and credit education, analyzing the theoretical basis of the environmental optimization of the honesty and credit education, emphasizes the importance, scientificity and feasibility of the honesty and credit education. The environment of the honesty and credit education is part of the ideological and political education, mainly aiming at fostering moral characters of being honesty and keeping one's word, and realizing the all-around development of the college students.The third chapter states the actual status of the environment of the honesty and credit education. It includes the family environment, the college environment, the social environment and network environment. Generally, more and more attention has been paid to the honesty and credit education for Chinese college students, and the environment of the honesty and credit education is improving. However, there are still many problems on it, and it will exert its influence to the effectiveness.The fourth chapter explores the problems and their causes on the environment of the honesty and credit education. It demonstrates the current situation in which many behaviors of showing dishonesty, focuses on the environmental elements involving in society, colleges, family and network, then finds their causes.The last chapter, based on the third chapter(the problems and causes), discusses the countermeasures to optimize the environment of the honesty and credit education from the aspects such as study, family, society and network, and offers the reasonable suggestions. This is the main goal of this thesis.
