Along with the development of the times,English plays a more and more important role in the international cooperation. The English learners required not only to master the solid language foundation, but also understand the culture knowledge. As we all know,our country carry out English teaching with decades of history. Traditional concept of English teaching still occupy a dominant position in our country. But culture teaching is becoming more and more important.and what position does the English culture teaching in today's English teaching? And also teacher's attitude to culture teaching and difficulties in culture teaching is really a problem. Yan'an is located in the north of Shannxi which is the relatively backward area in the basic stage of education among the whole country. The author focuses on research in the Yan'an area where culture teaching in English teaching exits a lot of problems, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures. Based at home and abroad for the theoretical studies of the cultural teaching, in a large number of theoretical foundation. The author is respectively to release the student and the teacher questionnaire survey, in-depth interview the teacher of three middle school in Baota District of Yan'an. Combined with the actual analysis of all sorts of problems and reasons of the existence of Yan'an Baota District of English culture teaching in junior middle schools, the author puts forward the countermeasures to better solve these problems.
