Research On The White-collar Women's Self-consciousness Of Body

The human body is an essential objective existence. However, in the field of sociology, the “body” has been in the state of implicit rather than explicit, exist but not talk about. Until after the 1980 s, heavily influenced by industrialization and the feminist movement, only to the “body” as a real issue has been gradual alerted and attention.Under the influence of Chinese traditional culture, the “body” issues have been isolated. From the sound of ignore, based on the study of the female subject consciousness, use analytical framework of philosophy, history, sociology and other subjects, from the dimensions of static and dynamic, horizontal and vertical to integrate analysis and research the female self-consciousness of body.In China, a group of white-collar women are advanced pioneer, who has an open attitude to gender, a solid economic strength and deep foundation of knowledge, therefore pay more attention to body freedom and self-liberation, they want to get rid of the shackles binding the body. In the process of the body transformation and the body consumption, they continue to achieve the body from the object to the return of the subject.From the women's self-consciousness of body, the article using the method of literature research, in-depth interviews and observation, and selecting an upscale district in B city as the geographical scope. The author makes an in-depth and interesting interview of the white-collar women. By summarize interview's information, showing the current status and level of white-collar women's self-consciousness of body fully. The paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the background, purpose and significance of this study, summarized the current domestic and international research for the body issues, and explained concepts and theories used in here. The second part reviews the development and internal logic of the female self-consciousness of the body. The third part summarizes the white-collar women's self-consciousness of body what inspect is the most concern in the daily, and the social function of them. The fourth part shows the expression of subjectivity and practical significance of the white-collar women's self-consciousness of the body in different daily situations. According to the previous four-part introduction and elaborate, the fifth part of this paper summarizes the development trend of the female self-consciousness of the body, that is advocate to achieve economic independence as the basis, attain body autonomy as a means to control their own bodies, pursuit the rights of equality for the goal to develop women's self-consciousness of the body, to avoid falling into all kinds of inappropriate expression of subjective errors.Through previous research, we can found female have the self-consciousness at first, with the sublimation of the self-consciousness, the self-consciousness of body has been showed, and then gradually rise to concern on the body and the use of technology on the body. Today, white-collar women not only pursuit the surface meaning of body, but will depth thinking how to make body participate in the context. However, white-collar women are only a small part of the China's overall females; more women are still influenced by traditional thinking and social awareness, and live in the situation of “body absent”. Thus, the gist of this paper is to wake up the women seeking the health and beauty of body, enhance self-consciousness of body, and seek body maintenance and renovation, to achieve equal dialogue of both genders ultimately.
