Academic emotions are all kinds of emotions that students experience in the learning situation. Including class learning, class homework, exam preparation in situations of proud, happy, hope, calm, relaxed, irritability, anxiety, hate, shame, tired, disappointed and distressed and helpless feeling. Positive academic emotion is helpful to improve students’ learning efficiency, so as to improve students’ academic performance. Negative academic emotions not only affect the students’ academic performance, but also affect the healthy development of students’ psychology. Academic emotions will have an important impact on students’ life.This study choose the third, fourth and fifth grade students in a rural primary school as subjects, using questionnaire method to study, and students’ Academic Emotion and academic achievement correlation research according to the student’s final exam. The purpose of the study is to understand the current situation of students’ Academic Emotion in rural areas, the correlation between academic emotions and academic performance, so as to provide an effective reference for future teaching. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)With the increase of the grade, positive academic emotion is gradually reduced, and the negative academic emotion is gradually increased.(2)There is no significant gender difference in each dimension of academic emotion.(3)Positive high arousal dimension of happy factor and grade three English scores were significant positive correlation; positive high arousal dimension of happy factor and the fourth and fifth grade of all subjects showed significant positive correlation; positive low arousal dimension calm factor with the grade of all subjects showed significant positive correlation; negative high arousal dimension of irritability, worry factor with the grade of all subjects was significantly negatively correlated; negative low arousal dimension boredom, disappointment, distress, helpless factor with the grade of the subjects showed significantly negative correlation.
