The relationship between pupils and teachers is an important interpersonal relationship.For the primary school students in rural boarding schools,the impact of teacher-student relationship on students is significant and far-reaching.Since entering the school,learning activities have gradually surpassed the game to occupy the core position in children lives.The level of academic achievement has increasingly become an important indicator of whether children are well developed.In order to explore the impact of teacher-student relationship on academic achievement and the complex mechanism between them,this research mainly adopted questionnaire survey,took 554 middle and high grade students in two rural boarding schools in Liaoning Province as object,and explored the characteristics of teacher-student relationship,self-control,academic procrastination and academic achievement.Aiming at discussing the influence mechanism of academic achievement from the perspectives of teacher-student relationship,personality and social behavior.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The development of teacher-student relationship,self-control and academic procrastination in the middle school students of rural boarding primary school is characterized by the fact that the teacher-student relationship of grade 3 was significantly better than of grades 4 and 6,and the teacher-student relationship of grade 5 was significantly better than of grade 6.Grade 6 students have significantly lower academic procrastination than grade 3 and grade 4.In the gender,girls' teacher-student relationship,self-control was significantly better than boys,girls' academic procrastination were significantly lower than boys.(2)For the middle and high grade students in rural boarding schools,the teacher-student relationship can positively predict self-control,but also can negati,vely predict academic procrastination.Self-control can also negatively predict academic procrastination,but also can positively predict academic achievement.Academic procrastination can negatively predict academic achievement.(3)Self-control and academic procrastination play an intermediary role in the impact of teacher-student relationship on academic performance.
