Study On The Impact Of The National Economy Of Holding Sports Events

In recent years, with the development of productive forces and the improvement of people's living standards, sports has gradually become an integral part of public life. Sports plays an important role in the aspects of improving the quality of people's lives and meeting the consumption need. Especially since China successfully hosted the Olympic Games in 2008 and won bid of the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, Chinese sports industry has been paid more attention, and has gradually grown as the national pillar industry, and it has a lot of room for improvement.This paper mainly studies the influence of sports events on the national economy and defines the specific meaning of the sports industry and sports competition and many other features. This paper analyzes the significance of sports industry at home and abroad from qualitative and quantitative perspectives and find the existing problems during the Olympic.To address these issues concerning sports event, relevant policies and suggestions are made to promote national economy development.The key point of this article is: First, the sports industry has its unique characteristics. As a third industry and a sunrise industry, the sports industry is of internationality, universality and socialism. Secondly, the sports industry occupies an important position in the national economy. Both in our country and aboard, the sports industry not only contributes a lot to GDP, but also effectively promotes the surrounding economic. Although China's sports industry started late, but in recent years the proportion of sports industry in the national economy is growing rapidly, and has great potential. Thirdly, the sports event can promote the city infrastructure construction, enhance the influence of the city, improve the level of human capital and promote the development of other industries. Fourthly, Holding sports events is bound to increase the government's budget and cause inconvenience to life of local people,even a waste of resource. Fifthly, to address the existing issues, relevant policies and suggestions are made to promote national economy development. And sports event should be better used to promote national economy development.
