During the "14th Five-Year Plan" development period,the digital economy relied on 5G,artificial intelligence and other intelligent equipment manufacturing and technology,and quickly became the driving force for a new round of scientific and technological revolution development and industrial transformation.The "14th Five-Year Plan" sports development plan also put forward that the sports industry needs to attach great importance to digitalization,in this context,the Chinese sports industry has also actively carried out the adjustment and expansion of related businesses,layout the whole sports industry chain,but in the sports business sector layout is getting bigger and bigger,the problems of operation and management are also constantly exposed,intelligent technology innovation and transformation capabilities are insufficient,sports industry resource allocation inefficiency,unbalanced asset structure and other problems are becoming more and more prominent.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct performance analysis on the implementation of the whole industry chain strategy of the enterprise,and the performance analysis of the enterprise can help the enterprise to find the problems in the operation and adjust and improve it in time,which is not only beneficial to its own development but also can guide the healthy development of related industries.Based on this,this paper selects the Chinese body industry as the case company,adopts the research method combining case study and empirical analysis,analyzes the implementation and performance of the whole industry chain strategy of the middle body industry under the digital economy from the perspective of input and output,explores the development status of the digital economy and sports industry in the introduction part,and then sorts out the relevant literature at home and abroad,and conducts a detailed study of the case company from the perspective of strategic analysis,selection,implementation and evaluation.Strategic Analysis and Selection mainly introduces the background and motivation of strategic choice;In the implementation part of the strategy,through horizontal,vertical and lateral implementation paths,China Sports Industry has formed a whole industry chain layout integrating event operation,sports communication and sports derivative business,which is mainly manifested in the establishment of digital technology companies,the construction of online digital platforms,leading sports events with wisdom,digital helping public services,digitally empowering sports space,and smart sports lottery.In the strategic evaluation part,the DEA method was selected to evaluate its performance,the DEA-BCC model was selected to conduct static analysis of the performance level of the Chinese body industry in 2021,and the DEA-Malmquist index model was used to dynamically analyze its performance level in 2015-2021.From the results measured by case enterprises and other sports listed companies,the implementation of the whole industry chain strategy of China Sports Industry has expanded the company’s business,improved its own industrial chain structure,and enabled enterprises to occupy more shares in the market.However,in the implementation of corporate strategy,there are the following problems:(1)the asset structure is not sound and the profitability is insufficient;(2)the asset allocation efficiency is not high and the management efficiency is low;(3)the innovation and transformation of intelligent technology is insufficient;(4)the digital professional talent is scarce and the personnel efficiency is not high.It also puts forward some suggestions for the future development of the Chinese sports industry:(1)optimize the asset structure and improve profitability;(2)rely on the digital economy to drive the optimal allocation of resources;(3)stimulate innovation vitality and strengthen the ability to transform new technologies;(4)cultivate professionals suitable for the digital era of sports.In general,the research in this paper is of great significance for promoting the healthy development of the Chinese sports industry itself,and the optimization and upgrading of the whole industry chain strategy and performance evaluation of China’s sports listed companies provide theoretical improvement.
