Curriculum assessment is defined by an approach that teachers assess students' learning process and results in one specific course to achieve specific training objectives. Curriculum assessment is an important part of teaching, and it is not the end of learning activities, but the continuation of learning activities considering its role of promoting learning through feedback and incentive mechanism. Under the influence of modern education evaluation theory, higher education emphasizes on students learning than teachers teaching. And pay more attention to the main role of students, feelings and learning experience in learning activities and so do curriculum assessment. Meaningful learning experiences help to stimulate students' interest in learning, and improve student motivation, leading to continuous learning activities, and ultimately achieve good learning results.Meanwhile, higher engineering education is at the stage of deepening reform, and shows a return to engineering practice for engineering education and curriculum. Teachers should emphasize the creation of engineering practice scenarios in teaching to develop students' ability to solve practical engineering problems. While the study of professional curriculum plays a key role in the cultivate of students' practical abilities. Considering engineering professional curriculum come from the engineering practical, and problem-oriented features, the assessment should emphasis on student learning experience. So how to increase students' learning experience becomes the key for the reforming of engineering professional curriculum assessment. Therefore, knowing the current status and problems of engineering professional curriculum assessment to give some advises which has a strong practical significance.The research analyzed the engineering professional curriculum assessment from the learning experience and presented the principles, process and precautions of the engineering professional curriculum assessment, which is based on the theory of the modern assessment theory combined with engineering professional curriculum characteristics, learning experience mechanism and the construction of learning experience activity. And the research aims to promote students' learning experience in the engineering professional curriculum assessment, so as to achieve good learning effect. Research mainly uses the interview method and questionnaire survey to understand current status of engineering professional curriculum assessment. And analysis the two specific cases from the concept, characteristics and design through case analysis. Research summed up major problems, such as teachers lack of the recognition of assessment factors, fail to construct appropriate learning activities and its role has not been effective evaluation combined with the learning experience building and the status of engineering professional curriculum assessment. Study put forward strategies from the analysis of influencing factors, build appropriate learning activities and attaches great importance to the assessment results in order to design a better engineering professional curriculum assessment.
