With the growing population of Chinese children in Japan,learning Chinese language has been more and more popular at Chinese weekend schools.Under this situation,study and analysis of current Chinese teaching patterns in Japan is necessary.According to the principle of analysis of child psychology and the teaching theory,the methods of teaching Chinese to Chinese children in Japan should be different from the ones used in China or full-time Chinese language schools in Japan.The analysis of collected statistic data covers 95% of six to twelve years old Chinese children at the Dougen Chinese Language School in Japan.Changing traditional ones and exploring the situational teaching method are fit for Chinese children to learn Chinese language at weekend schools in Japan.The way to prove the importance and practicability of the situational teaching method,practiced at Chinese language classes with a vivid atmosphere,is that Chinese children would take Chinese reading,listening,speaking,and writing comprehensive examinations in the classes periodically.The situational teaching method conforms to the idea and logic of Chinese language education.It also follows the principle of Chinese language development as a second language.The exploration and study of situational teaching method not only solves the issues arising from traditional Chinese language teaching methods to Chinese children in Japan,but also enhances teacher's performance.The situational teaching method can help improving the intensive study of Chinese Language Education in Japan.
