With the promotion and development of economic ties between China and Myanmar,the Myanmar Chinese teaching area has been growing attention.Northern Yunnan bordering Myanmar and China since ancient times and China has a long history of close relations,there are a large number of the Chinese population in this area.Thus Chinese Chinese in northern Burma has been a profound social basis of practical language.So the focus of Chinese Teaching in northern Burma to Myanmar.The Chinese teaching center in northern Burma is Myanmar's largest Chinese neighborhood in the city of Lashio.Lashio due to historical,political,geographical,ethnic composition of the population and other factors affect the distribution,formed its own unique characteristics of Chinese language teaching,it has been "Chinese Education in Myanmar bridgehead" in the title.In this paper,northern Burma Lashio City Middle School Gowen for the study of school teachers,students and some stakeholders questionnaire surveys and interviews,and literature and other information,analyzed and discussed the characteristics of Chinese teaching in northern Burma,has made as well as the effectiveness of the main problems,make recommendations for more effective development of Chinese language teaching in northern Burma.Thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction to explain the origin and significance,combing the development course of northern Burma and northern Burma Lashio Gowen Middle School Chinese Teaching.The second part of northern Burma Gowen Middle School student's language background and cultural background investigation and analysis of students learning Chinese and intent,motive on this basis,and then to generalize Lashio in northern Burma Gowen school students learning Chinese Features.The third part of the analysis of Middle School Teachers in Lashio Gowen survey and statistics.The survey mainly include: the overall situation of Chinese teachers,Chinese curriculum,instruction materials and teaching methods,tactics and so on.Also specifically investigate and understand how teachers lesson plans,instructional design,lesson planning,use of teaching aids,teaching methods inside and outside the classroom.Also raised difficulties in school and Chinese language teachers faced with the problem that exists.The fourth part is related to factors that affect and promote Chinese teaching Lashio areas of investigation and analysis,including the Chinese community,the impact of China and Myanmar's economic development,to attract Chinese learning and learning content.The fifth part is some thoughts and suggestions based on the results of investigation proposed.Summarizes some of the difficulties in Lashio Gowen Middle School students and teachers are faced with the problems of the aspects of Chinese language teaching Middle School Gowen and northern Burma,the use of textbooks,teacher training and put forward their views and suggestions.As a local Chinese language teachers with ethnic identity,the author in national sense of responsibility and mission,motivated,seeks a new perspective on Chinese teaching in Middle School Lashio Gowen of a more comprehensive and in-depth investigation and analysis,we want to Lashio Gowen Secondary School in northern Burma and the development of Chinese language teaching force offer advice,helpful.
