With the in-depth implementation of new curriculum reform and quality education, teachers and educators are gradually aware of the students' dominant position in study, and come to stress the significance of the cultivation of students' ability to use knowledge to solve practical problems. In this context, the study on the teaching strategy of the transfer ability training of Junior Middle School Students in Chemistry is becoming more and more crucial.Based on the theory of learning transfer, this paper analyzes the present situation of junior middle school students' transfer ability in chemistry learning and discusses the factors that affect the development of their transfer ability. The following teaching strategies are proposed:(1)to mould students' good cognitive structure of Chemistry;(2)to break the mindset interference;(3)to improve students' generalization ability;(4)to carry on scientific exploration activities;(5)to create reasonable teaching situations;(6)to develop students' ability of reflection;(7)to strengthen the training of information-given problems.Using the above seven kinds of teaching strategies,we carry on teaching practice to promote the students' transfer ability. The results of interviews, questionnaires and comprehensive tests show that the research of last year is effective, and the transfer ability of students in knowledge, skills and methods has been improved obviously.
