FMEA-Based Multimedia Teaching Equipment Management

Multimedia teaching equipment basically includes a computer,a DVD player,an amplifier,a physical booth,the central control system software,central control table,a projector,a microphone,two speakers,and other sophisticated systems.These multimedia teaching equipment are expensive,therefore,they are one of the main modern educational equipment investment that universities focus on.Undoubtedly,they are also important university assets.Multimedia teaching equipment has changed the traditional "chalk,blackboard,textbook" teaching method,and the single active and passive teaching the relationship between teachers and students.Therefore it has become one of the main teaching methods and teaching tools in the twenty-first century.Hence,colleges and universities welcome teachers to use multimedia teaching equipment.However,the high frequency use of multimedia teaching equipment results in lower accuracy,performance degradation,and lead to teacher complaints since they can not satisfy the demand for teachers teaching activities.In order to make advanced equipment and systems are well used,universities,facing these dozens or even hundred of educational system with high-tech,replacement fast,expensive and other features,can give these means of teaching a full important play role in the new education philosophy only in accordance with the scientific management methods.The paper analyzes the maintenance methods of multimedia modern teaching equipment by means of FMEA theory.After finding out the fault location,the failure mode and the cause of the failure,mastering the failure situation of the multimedia teaching equipment,designing proper equipment maintenance method,the multimedia equipment maintenance technicians,teachers,equipment department staff member and property management personnel can work together to reduce the severity of the failure.They can even eliminate the failures occurrence for school teachers.Thus,they provide a comfortable working environment to meet the challenges of modern teaching.This effective and effective multimedia teaching equipment management method will undoubtedly greatly strengthen the school "software construction".
