Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial) put forwards establishing an evaluation system. The system can promote overall development of students and help teachers continuously improve. It can also continue the curriculum development. This fully reflects the emphasis on the evaluation of curriculum reform. But in the daily teaching, especially in the teaching and evaluation activities of mathematical concepts, the traditional paper and pencil test is still the first choice for teachers. What are the problems of teachers in the process of performance assessment? How to use performance assessment in the learning process of mathematical concepts? This is a problem that many teachers must pay attention to.In this paper, At first we use the method of literature analysis to sort out the achievements at home and abroad about performance assessment. We analyze the significance of the application of performance assessment in mathematics concept learning.Then, we analyze the status of implementation of performance assessment in high school mathematics concept learning with the help of survey. Here is the result:(1) Most teachers are aware of performance assessment, but they rarely use it in the teaching and evaluation activities of mathematical concepts.(2) Most teachers lose understanding of the process of students' mathematical concept learning.(3) It's hard to develop performance tasks and evaluation standard. And there are some problems in implementation process.Based on this understanding, this article analyze the feasibility and implementation strategy about the use of performance assessment.
