"Making assumptions " is the core skill of scientific inquiry. The best way of skill training is learning by doing,and cases teaching is an effective way to realize that. Teaching case is an important tool of case teaching, it's the premise of case teaching could be carried out smoothly.Using the history of biological science as the material to infiltrate the teaching cases of "making assumptions" skill training, which combins the theoretical knowledge and ability, will help to improve students' "making assumptions" ability after these cases teaching,In this study, we integrate the case materials of biological science history with the theme of "making assumptions ", and considering high school students'knowledge base and cognitive level. This study is based on constructivist learning theory, cognitive structure learning theory and information processing theory. Summarize the writing points of the teaching cases writing for "making assumptions "skill training,which based on the history of biological science.,And lay the foundation for the establishment of the middle school biology teaching case.
