The section of conic curve is a key and difficult part of high school mathematicsis content. And this chapter contains a large number of mathematical thinking and problem-solving methods. Learning conic curve knowledge well can enhance students' mathematical thinking and teaching conic curve well can get more good teaching experience for teachers. After the college entrance examination reform, more attention be paid to the knowledge and ability of students'. However, there are many problems in the students' study of conic curve. The students are very common to lose points.This situation is worth attention.This paper uses the methods of literature research, theoretical analysis and experience exchange,starts from the position of conic curve in the college entrance examination and the teaching research. And it based on constructivism, the new curriculum ideas and effective teaching theory, according to my own teaching practice, combined with the reflection of some high school mathematics teachers to students' learning conic curve, lists the problems of the students often appear in studying conic curve.The structure of this essay is arranged as follows:the first chapter is the introduction, which elaborated the research background, the conic curve's teaching research status, the theoretical basis, the purpose and significance of researching conic curve's teaching.The second chapter lists the common problems when students learn conic curve, and gives suggestions for teaching. The third chapter designs specific teaching cases. The fourth chapter is the test of practice teaching.
