Interventional Study On Self-Confidence Reconstruction Of Juvenile Delinquency By Social Work

The research aims at discussing the effects of case counseling methods about Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy towards enhancing the confidence level of the guilty juvenile,analyzing workers skills of the case counseling regarding to REBT in the application effectiveness and culture differences reflecting from case counseling methods.Besides,it puts forward some specific suggestions according to the study results for social workers pertaining to what to do when carrying out this kind of case counseling.The design of this study is giving tests before and after the case coaching respectively.It also interviews clients separately.Prior to taking the counseling,clients need to accept tests with Personal Evaluation Inventory.Afterwards,they can have the case coaching once a month,each time for about 60 minutes.It lasts for half a year.At last,clients should take other tests.Social workers,then,can compare the differences of scores between the one before and after all the counseling in order to probe into the counseling results about the effects towards the clients,analyze skills of workers in the application effectiveness and reflect the cultural differences in case counseling.In addition,I analyzed the observation tables and clients' feedback forms of individual counseling,the interview guide and audio-recordings to assist me with the research results.Now,I extract the main results as follow:First,the case counseling regarding to REBT is indeed able to promote the confidence level of the guilty juvenile.Second,workers in the case counseling regarding to REBT who use skills correctly will promote the confidence level of the guilty juvenile.Third.under the background of Chinese culture,the difference of the case counseling regarding to REBT embodied in the thinking way and teaching methods,etc.In brief,the research presents advice regarding to the study results for social workers and researchers.
