In recent years,the campus bullying incidents occur frequently and become more and more serious.The problem of bullying on campus has become a hot social problem,which has caused widespread concern and reflection.At present,there are more and more researches related to bullying.Different scholars have given different views of the definition of bullying,but we generally think that if a student in the school suffers a long-term negative behavior,including physical behavior and language behavior,we say that student is suffering bullying.As one of the social problems in the process of children’s socialization,bullying has serious impacts on the academic,social adaptation,mental health and other aspects of of the bully,the bullied and bystanders.Among them,the biggest victim is the bullies : long-term campus bullying will make the bullies have a low self-esteem and negative emotions,or even causes some psychological diseases,such as melancholia.In this paper,the author carries on the questionnaire survey to the eight grade students in the S Middle School to the spectator,the bully,and the bullied to know the frequency,causes,types,coping methods of students,and the adverse effects of campus bullying.The dates show that the school bullying happens in the hidden place.However,these events are not affected by a single factor,but by many factors from individual students,families,schools and social environment.But in my internship at L school,through the issuance of questionnaires and the teachers’ interviews,I find that L school has a lower bullying frequency and the type of bullying is mainly verbal bullying,comparing with S school.Aiming at the differences of bullying behavior between the two schools,the author interviews the director of L school moral education again,and finds that L school has a strong school supervision and pays more attention to the moral education of students.Therefore,in order to reduce bullying,school should strengthen the supervision of students,and optimize the school education,and expand the school social work team who can involve in bullying problems with professional methods;secondly,the family should improve the way of education and take the responsibility of educating,creating an atmosphere of equality and mutual respect for children;finally,the government should strengthen the legislation,and make some special laws on bullying.In short,reducing and preventing the occurrence of bullying need the efforts from the individual students 、 the family 、 the society and schools to create a harmonious and safe campus environment for children.
