With the development of computer technology,the way of human reading have changed tremendously.From the individual reading oriented to knowledge acquisition to interactive social reading,social reading have not only changed the way of human reading,but also expanded our reading content.The development of social reading tools provide a space for reading sharing and exchange.Primary and secondary schools' reading teaching focus on the practice in reading comprehension and reading test,but there are little chance for students to communicate their reading points of view and collaborative knowledge building.It's a new research perspective of reading teaching in primary and secondary schools to combine social reading with reading class and guide students to participate in social reading.This article systematically combs the social reading,knowledge building,learning scaffold and other related concepts,summarizes the characteristics of the existing social reading platform home and abroad.Knowledge building strategies are designed,reading evaluation system home and abroad are integratedly compared to bulid a scaffold of social reading based on knowledge buliding,and a social reading instruction mode is proposed integrating knowledge building strategies with social reading scaffold.Finally,taking nine-year students of Shanghai Youai experimental middle school for example,using "Douban" social reading platform,designing the social reading teaching scheme based on knowledge buliding for implementation.The results show that knowledge building strategies and reading scaffold have affected the students' reading mode and expanded the way of reading thinking in a certain extent,deepen the interaction and integration between students,and made a meaningful collaborative knowledge building.
