The "textbook" which is carrier of curriculum,both in the choice of knowledge and its distribution has profound significance of education fairness,is worth studying deeply.As the economic urbanization,the education including the textbooks is also gradually in the tendency of the urbanization.The recessive injustice of the textbook caused by urbanization is increasingly aroused people's attention.This paper try to discuss unequal distribution on the elements of urban and rural and its influence from the perspective of Bourdieu's "cultural capital theory",and indicate the necessity of build an equal cultural system of textbooks between urban and rural areas.The paper mainly adopts the quantitative and qualitative analysis,supplemented by interviews.Firstly,on the basis of literature analysis,the paper attempts to build the overall framework to analyze textbooks from the perspective of Bourdieu's cultural capital theory.Using content analysis,the paper analyzes the unequal distribution of the cultural capital on the elements of urban and rural.And according to choose two dimensions,namely "quantity analysis" and "qualitative analysis",the paper analyzes the whole Chinese textbooks from grade one to nine respectively from three categories of illustrations,selected passages and unit tests.Then,on the basis of the interview,the paper analyzes the influence of unequal distribution of cultural capital deeply.In other words,it is the reproduction of cultural capital.Finally,on the basis of the above analysis,the paper concludes:the textbook which is materialized cultural capital,is of disadvantage to the rural schools' children.The reason is that there is heterogeneity between rural schools'children and cultural of textbooks.As a result,there are unfair phenomena in the fair because of the reproduction of cultural capital caused by textbooks.Based on analysis of textbooks on the elements of urban and rural,the paper puts forward a series of suggestions from the writing of textbooks,teachers'teaching,the direction of policies and rural families respectively.Here are four main strategies:Firstly,the tacit meaning of explicit knowledge needs to be concerned from the textbook level.Secondly,rural teachers should put emphasis on localized exploration and utilization of course resources.Thirdly,the fair distribution of urban and rural education resources should be promoted.At last,the educational level of vulnerable groups should be raised.Above all,providing some possible ideas and ways for the fair development of textbooks between urban and rural areas is expected.
