Research Of Art Appreciation Teaching In Middle School Based On Key Competencies

Nowadays,with the development and rise of key competencies research worldwide,a research boom is also formed in China.Recently,the Ministry of Education has announced the framework and system of the key competencies development of students,and has caused many discussions and school practice changes in the Chinese academia.In the current concept of key competencies,the art education academia of primary and secondary schools also launched a series of discussions.Such as "how to promote the acquisition of students' key competencies through artistic study?","What are the key competencies of art subject?" and et cetera.How to adapt to the trend of "key competencies" and the specific implementation of the art subject are the major challenges we are facing.This also highlights the importance and necessity of the research on the teaching of art appreciation in secondary schools based on key competencies.This study focuses on the relationship between key competencies and art appreciation in middle school,which takes the research object on students of grade 7-9 in junior high school.Through the study of literature,theoretical research and investigation,the teaching strategies and methods are studied for improving key competencies of middle school students' art appreciation.Through listing art curriculum standards,carrying out secondary school students' survey,interviewing secondary school teachers,analyzing various versions of teaching materials,exploring the current status and problems of appreciation teaching,I have put forward the basic strategies and methods of middle school art appreciation teaching based on key competencies and developed three unit curriculum routines accordingly.I have also organized the activities of the seminar,and fully explored the relationship between key competencies and art appreciation teaching.
