Acculturation And Educational Solutions For Students Of Han-nationality In Korean Primary Schools

This paper mainly uses qualitative research methods,through field investigation and interviews,make 21 students Han-nationality students in Y Korean primary school in Yanji,their parents and teachers and some Korean nationality students as the object of study.Though the research found that:First,in the study of cultural adaptation,their grasp of Korean language is not very ideal,they can achieve basic daily communication,but in listening,speaking,reading and writing these four aspects,most Han-nationality students have one or two aspects which they are less proficient.Compared with the Chinese class and English class in the classroom teaching,in the class which teaching with Korean language,especially in Korean language class and math class,they can not understand the knowledge points,they are less active in answering questions or even don't want to answer,and some students afraid to answer the question in a wrong way.Most of their school record are in the medium level,showing "the two small ends,and big middle"trend.Secondly,in terms of affective cultural adaption and cultural identity,students in Gra de one to three do not quite understand the meaning of nationality and culture,but they have a ten dency to the Han nationality in the aspect of identity;the students of grade 4-6 grade are proud of their Han-nationality identity;For the Korean culture,they hold an attitude of acceptance and recognition,express their love for Korean culture;Encountered "I am Han-nationality,they are Korean,we are not the same" and some Han-nationality students perceive the prejudice from around.In favor of seeking help,1-2 grade Han-nationality students tend to fining their teacher for help,3-6 grade Han-nationality students tend to fining their classmates to helping themselves solve problems or difficulties,and there are a few students like to ask their parents for help.Encountered "I am Han-nationality,they are Korean,we are not the same" and some Han-nationality students perceive the prejudice from around.In favor of seeking help,1-2 grade Han-nationality students tend to fining their teacher for help,3-6 grade Han-nationality students tend to fining their classmates to helping themselves solve problems or difficulties,and there are a few students like to ask their parents for help.Through the analysis found that the language,cultural distance,and the support system will have an impact on the cultural adaptation of the Han-nationality students in Korean primary school,and with the increase of the grade,the Han-nationality students' cultural adaptation performance is different.So the following conclusions are drawn:First,the Han-nationality students are poor in the study of cultural adaptation,poor interpersonal communication,higher cultural identity,high degree of adaptability;Secondly,they adapt to the culture in an integrated manner;Thirdly,draw the "W curve" of their cultural adaptation.And then put forward the corresponding education countermeasures:For school,it should strengthen multicultural education,psychological health education and national unity education.For the teachers,they should master the knowledge of mental health,strengthen cooperation with students' parents,and improve their own multicultural literacy,according to the type of Han-nationality students to conduct counseling.Parents should strengthen the sense of responsibility for children's education and awareness of interaction with teachers.On the other hand,the Han-nationality students should have a correct understanding of themselves and maintain a positive attitude.Adopt "help" measures and strengthen the participation of multicultural activities,so as to better achieve the cultural adaptation.
