The Study Of Affecting Factors On Undergraduate Dormitory Culture

As the society changes sharply, higher education enrollment expansion, university logistics socialization and the coming of "After 95s" undergraduate, the culture construction of undergraduate dormitory faces too many new problems, so we need do an in-depth theoretical study and practical exploration. I apply Bourdieu’Field Theory to the paper, which adopts literature method, questionnaire method and interview method. The paper makes squantitative and qualitative research in S university, which includes the following parts:First of all, the paper expounds theoretical basis and research design of dormitory culture, It defines the dormitory culture and explores theoretical basis of the affecting factors of undergraduate dormitory culture from the perspective of sociology.Secondly, the paper summarizes the present situation of the dormitory culture from material cultural, system culture, behavior culture and spiritual culture and puts forward some specific problems of the dormitory culture on this basis. The problems are as follows:supporting facilities are not complete and lack of life design concept; the system construction is not perfect and lack of humanization; activity’s content is not rich and some behaviors exist anomie; spiritual culture is not filled and value orientation presents diversity.Once again, the paper discusses the affecting factors of undergraduate dormitory culture from individual, family, university and social and this is the most important part of the research. In terms of the individual, the individual life habit, learning attitude and psychological characteristics influence dormitory culture significantly through the contact among the students. In terms of the family, there are considerable differences in students’eating habits and their dormitory harmony degree because the students come from different families, and the students may form the corresponding consumer groups depend on the different income level. Different atmosphere of family will effect the dormitory members’relationship indirectly and thus effect a person’s personality. In terms of the university, management system of the university is the basis and gurantee of the dormitory culture construction, university culture has a guiding role of dormitory culture, peer groups promote dormitory members’communication. In terms of the society; social economy decides the infrastructure of dormitory culture, social politics dominants the development direction of the dormitory culture, social culture is the environment of the dormitory culture development.Finally, the paper puts forward the path of the construction of dormitory culture:optimizing the dormitory physical environment, and building elegant and comfortable dormitory atmosphere; improving the dormitory rules and regulations, constructing lasting and orderly dormitory specification; carrying forward the dormitory health behavior, and carrying rich and colorful dormitory activities; cultivating dormitory noble spirit, and building harmonious and civilized dormitory culture.
