Research On The Ideological And Political Education Of Undergraduate Dormitory Groups

Along with higher education in China deepening reform, especially in the field of the credit system and the elective system,it leads to weaken the affects of the our traditional "classroom". As Contrast, the stable dormitory has become the place where the undergraduates stay the longest time in a day. The dormitory has become the important place where the undergraduates to learn, to live and to communicate. Under the background of new era, dormitory as the important position of the ideological and political education has been gradually reveal, dormitory’s groups as the main objects of the ideological and political education began to get widespread attentions. Because of this, putting the dormitory in the main position, facing the dormitory groups to carry out ideological and political education has also become an important part of the daily ideological and political education in college. Following the development needs and the undergraduate’s realities, we have to strengthen the ideological and political work in dormitory. In the process, we should keep pace with the times, constantly expand the new platforms, explore the new ways and improve the effectiveness of the ideological and political education. To meet such requirements has become an important issue of the ideological and political education. Ideological and political education of the undergraduate dormitory’s groups is an effective complement about the class education. This paper explores the general theories of the undergraduate dormitory’s groups at the first. Then, through the questionnaires, interviews and other means, the author summed up the achievements and shortcomings about the ideological and political education in dormitories. On the basis of this, the author analyzed the main reasons of these shortcomings. At last, the author put forward the appropriate and targeted countermeasures, and in hope to provide some useful references about theoretical study and practice on ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. The paper consists of three chapters.Chapter1:The summary of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. It refers to the concept, features, contents and significances. This chapter is to clarify the concept of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups, analyze its basic characteristics, propose the main contents and explore the practical values of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups.Chapter II:To analysis the current situations about the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. On the basis of questionnaires and interviews, the author summed up the main achievements of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. Then, the author summarized the shortcomings of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. On the base of these, the author traced back to the main reasons of these shortcomings in the third part.Chapter III:The countermeasures to strengthen the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. Based on the students’learning and living realities and the specific circumstances of the school works, the author put forward the effective countermeasures to improve ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups. Including:to deepen the scientific understanding of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups; to innovate the form of ideological and political education; to optimize environments of the ideological and political education of undergraduate dormitory groups, and so on.
