The starting point of New Curriculum Reform is based on the People-Oriented and the Students' Development.Returning to life is an attribution of New Curriculum Reform.And an efficient and quality design for school assignment is an important way to ensure the implementation of the curriculum goals.Under the concept of New Curriculum Reform,how to realize maximizing of purpose about the curriculum assignment with the least amount of time and energy,i.e.,how to facilitate the scientific view of homework for teachers and students,and how to make students happy growth and development by doing homework,are the goals every educator pursues.Homework is the classroom teaching's extension,effective teaching's implementation,and teacher evaluation's important aspects.Teachers motivate students with the help of activities to explore and experience actively,and to cultivate the learning ability of sustainable development.Homework is also a kind of experience,which make students to construct knowledge and to enhance the meaning of life,is a witness to the learning process of accumulating a lot of happy.Job design,as the important way of students' consolidating the knowledge,developing good learning ability,and promoting the harmonious development of body and mind,is unable to avoid problems of the teaching practice in the school education,and is also a concern in the field of education teaching research.Looking from the existing research,the most important problem is to strengthen the study of job design class inside and outside.Taking Dongying school of Luanping county in Chengde as an example,this paper investigates the situations of mathematics homework for rural primary school.And the amounts,form,content,and the teachers' and students' attitudes for homework are surveyed.Then the correlation analysis between the amounts of homework and students' performances is carried out,and some problems in curricular and extra-curricular assignment designs at the present stage are highlighted.The results of the surveys and analyses show that there exists a correlation of the approximate quadratic curve between the amounts of homework and students' performances.That is to say,when the amounts of homework reach a critical quantity,students' performances do not continuously improve or even decline.Based on the investigation of the situations of mathematics homework for ruralprimary school,this paper proposes some basic principles for optimizing assignment from the points of views of psychology and pedagogy according to New Curriculum Standard and Multiple Intelligences.And the optimization design and practice are implemented in the form and content including pre-curricular,in-curricular and after-curricular assignments.By comparing students' performances before and after implementation of the optimization strategies,it is shown that these strategies not only reduce students' burden and enhance students' interests in mathematics,but also makes the students have the initiative of study so that students' performances are availably improved.Thus,this paper makes a beneficial exploration for raising teaching quality.
