Language Immersion is a new method of teaching a second language.It was firstly implemented in Quebec,Canada.As an influential second language teaching method,language immersion has its own advantages and significance.Language Immersion is an excellent language teaching method through which learners' language skills can be improved efficiently.It is based on language features and combines language study with the study environment directly.Students are immersed in learning language through experience and use as teachers create authentic experiences for communication.It is necessarily needed and required in language teaching,but hasn't been implemented in China's Primary schools due to some conditions and limitations.This paper presents the practice and study on immersion English teaching in primary school by the case of Suzhou Jinchang Foreign Language Primary School including the following aspects:the analysis of the students language learning?teaching content?teaching plan,teaching objectives and a questionnaire on How students feel about language immersion.It aims to provide some suggestions for implementing English language immersion in primary schools.
