With the progress of the ages,we educators should attach greater importance to the development of students' innovative spirit and practical ability in primary and middle schools.The application of micro inquiry learning in class teaching,on one hand,eases the contradiction between inquiry teaching and limited class hours.On the other hand,it leads the students to change their studying methods so that they are ready to develop independent thinking and then take the initiative in study.This paper conducts a survey on classroom micro inquiry learning from the perspective of levels of inquiry in the classroom and constructs a system of micro inquiry levels in senior high school mathematics classrooms based on literature review and current situation of maths teaching in middle schools.Through the questionnaire survey we have learned how micro inquiry learning has been developed among freshmen in a four-star senior high school.With the analysis of three different types of maths classes in teaching the unit—trigonometric function in a classroom,Grade One of senior high school,we summarize the teaching strategies for the practice of micro inquiry learning in three different types of class teaching.We keep track of classroom teaching at the beginning and the end of the semester and make a comparison on the differences of classroom inquiry levels before and after the implementation of micro inquiry learning based on our interviews with teachers and learners.Then we have concluded that the practice of micro inquiry learning is effective in improving class teaching.As conclusion,we put forward some suggestions for the implementation of classroom micro inquiry learning.Firstly,here are some teaching strategies for improving classroom micro inquiry learning: carefully designing some micro inquiry activities based on teaching contents;attaching much weight to students' existing knowledge,group work among students as well as application strategies of information technology in exploration of micro inquiry learning.Secondly,some errors in exploring micro inquiry learning should be avoided: the formalization or monotony of practice of micro inquiry learning;the neglect of teachers' instruction and guidance.Thirdly,some studying strategies in micro inquiry learning are presented: paying close attention to independent reading;promoting independent thinking;learning to cooperate among students;paying equal attention to students' self-monitoring.
