The football in schools has gained further development along with the rise and popularity of football in China. The widespread development and implementation of The Football Project should start with children, for the development of School Football, so we should develop young learners' interests in football, lay a good foundation for Football Project and build up young learners'football basic skills when they are in primary schools, so that young learners can engage in deep learning and improve their football levels constantly. Also, the forms of football classes and the process of teaching skills and movements are the critical steps for the popularity of football. What's more, the applications of the football games can equip young learners with higher attention and participation and encourage them to join in football to experience the connotation of "Jolly Sports" with a cheerful mood and comprehensive skill learning. This article mainly talked about the applications of football games in PE classes and carried out research via the methods of literature research, experimentation, experts'interview logical analysis and mathematical statistics. Based on all the above, it reached the following conclusions:1. Football games can better lead to warm-up effect in Warmer stage in PE classes and make young learners acquire faster understandings in the process of skill learning.2. Teachers can motivate young learners better and enhance the class dynamic to achieve the teaching aims by means of football games in PE classes.3. Young learners can strengthen their interests, learning drive and positive awareness of competition in football class.4. Active and healthy football games can help young learners create Jolly Sports atmosphere and foster their Jolly Sports spirit and lifelong sports concept.
