Research On The Sustainable Development Of Athletics In Hainan Province

Sustainable development has affected all aspects of human life and tribal sports is an important part of China's socialist cause, the State Sports General Administration has clearly put forward in the new century, we will try our best to realize the sustainable development of sports undertakings in china. With track and field competition its main feature, the Olympic Games and National Games track and field project scope its benchmark, Athletics is a movement aiming at reaching the peak of movement technology, creating excellent performance, and winning the championship. It plays a very important role in competitive sports. The sustainable development of Hainan Province Athletics is directly related to the sustainable development of our province sports. So investigating sustainable development of competitive sports in our province at the beginning of the new century has extremely important practical significance.From the development level of evolution in recent decades of development of track and field sports history, theory and Practice on the construction of Hainan province and Hainan athletics; this paper analyzes Hainan track and field coaches and athletes, and athletes' individual advantage level and the overall performance level status in recent years. With the help of SWOT method, this paper which is based on the questionnaire survey, takes the national and Hainan management system, competition, training, selection and other aspects into consideration, making a comprehensive analysis of countermeasures and measures possible, providing a strong scientific reference for the development of Hainan athletics.Mainly through the research methods of literature, interview, investigation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, this paper takes experts, coaches and athletes who are responsible for the training work as the respondents. Those respondents are from sports school track and field team, track and field team of Hainan Sports Work Team, Hainan province sports school track and field team and the Hainan athletics traditional project school, covering 16 cities or counties of Hainan province. According to the survey, through the investigation of Hainan track and field sports development present situation, we found some advantages in Hainan in the track and field sports development, such as:some individual projects advantages, geographical advantages and successful athletics practice advantages, but there are also shortcomings such as lack of reserve forces of track and field athletics team at all levels, insufficient capital investment and insufficient research intervention. Thus we put forward the corresponding measures for the sustainable development of track and field in Hainan. Through the investigation, the author summarized the status quo as follows:(1) With the sustainable development of Athletics in Hainan province, an advantage of men's project has been formed:hammer and 4 x 400 meters, the potential advantages of the project:200 meters and 800 meters, the women's advantages of the project:seven all-around and hammer, the potential advantages of the project:4 x 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles; these projects the first level is high, the reserve talents have the same high level but the number is not enough.(2) The number of track and field coaches in Hainan province needs to be enlarged and the overall quality of coaches needs to be improved. In addition, competent authorities neglect the training of the coaches, leading to the majority of the coach lack out of education, exchange and training opportunities.(3) Hainan Province Track and field reserve is inadequate, resulting in a power shortage in Hainan track and field sports, which hinders the sustainable development of track and field in Hainan.(4) The number of coaches in Hainan province and their comprehensive quality, management system, school sports, the training of reserve force, facilities, scientific research strength of the intervention and at all levels of athletic training funds shortage are the main factors hindering Hainan athletics sustainable development.(5) There are some opportunities for Hainan Province Athletics:policy support, the continuous development of science and technology and the potential advantages of the project; at the same time, Hainan Province Athletics also has certain threat: treatment of athletes and coaches reward is not reasonable; the sports life of athletes is too short; a serious lack of facilities; students are not ideal.
