In the General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards (experimental draft),Chinese course is divided into compulsory courses and elective courses,but for writings in classical style of study,compulsory courses and elective courses put forward two aspects of learning requirements:first,in the study of ancient outstanding works students should realize the national spirit of the article,absorb the wisdom of the nation,rich heritage of traditional culture:second,students should be able to understand and master the classical Chinese characters,words,sentences and other classical Chinese knowledge,so as to achieve the level of reading simple writings in classical style.The teaching and learning of writings in classical style in the course should take into account the above two aspects,however,today's high school writings in classical style classroom only according to only one standard.The teacher still cling to the principle of "implementation of every word,sentence clear",teacher explains the article from the beginning to the end,students have to use the rote learning method to circle the important words,remember the translation and sentences in each of the writings in classical style.This teaching model ignores the requirements of the students to understand the ancient cultural knowledge and excellent traditional culture.The writings in classical style in teaching of the senior high school should not be stuck on the memory of classical Chinese characters,words,sentences. The classical Chinese teaching finishing work is not to translate articles accurately,understand the meaning of the article. Writings in classical style teaching should be based on to the higher level,enter into the field of interpretation and penetration of traditional culture,so that the students are deeply influenced by the traditional culture and embed the traditional culture in the brain.After learning the traditional culture,the senior high school students can improve themselves,change themselves and apply the excellent traditional culture into the practice of life.This is the true end of classical Chinese teaching in senior high school.
