So far it has been confirmed by many scholars that collaborative writing can improve the level of Senior High School students' English writing.There is not much study about the application of cooperative learning of English writing in Senior High School taught in Mongolian after reading a large number of literature and related papers.The author chooses the Regular class taught in Mongolian of No.1 Middle School,Hailar as the subject of the research and the content of the experiment is whether the method for collaborative writing can improve the quality of Mongolian students' English writing.This research is divided into the following five parts: In the first chapter it defines content,method and meaning of the research by analyzing of the current situation of cooperative learning in Senior High School and English writing taught in Mongolian students.The second chapter expounds the related theory of cooperative learning and collaborative writing on the basis of studies about cooperative learning from domestic and foreign scholars.There are detailed designs,preparation and records of study process of 2 classes taught in Mongolian----the experiment class and the compared class in chapter three.The method of collaborative writing is applied in the experiment class,and the control class still adopts the traditional teaching method at the same time.Both the experiment class and the control class have the pre-test and the posttest in the experimental period.The fourth chapter is the focus of this paper,namely it carries on the comparison of the test results and analyses the questionnaire before and after the experiment.It makes the experimental conclusion of collaborative writing model and the application in the fifth chapter.The study has shown that cooperative writing applied in English writing taught in Mongolian can improve students' English writing ability,develop their interest in writing,and enhance the accuracy of the English writing,students' cooperation consciousness and self-confidence.The role of the traditional teacher is changed as well.It finally confirms that cooperative learning could improve Mongolian students' English writing in Senior High School.So the cooperative learning is a useful addition to the English teaching for Mongolian students and conducive to improving the whole English teaching system in Mongolian.
