The summer break homework is the organic component of students' summer holiday and boasts unique function and value compared to the class teaching.Under the educational guidance of life-long education and overall development,the present situation of the summer break homework cannot fit to the requirements of the social demand and human development.The reform of the summer break homework is the essential means of its upgrade and adjustment.There are diverse ways for the reform of summer homework,but those ways starve the concern of student's reforming power.Thus,How to adjust student's inner driving force during the process of renewing the summer break homework?This paper,through taking L primary school in Changzhou as an example,using several researching methods like interview,observation,content analysis and questionnaire,analyzing the experimental process of students becoming the planner of the summer break homework and the support from school,family and society during the experiment,aims to make a research on the connotation and value of students planning the summer break homework and provide some reference for practitioners.This paper consists of four parts.Part one is introduction.Through concluding documents and resources from home and abroad,the author will summarize from two dimensions as homework and student planing,make conclusion and reflection to the finished researches,put forward new perspective for the summer break homework planners and further affirm the ideas and methods of the research.The second part will focus on the process of putting students as the summer break homework planner,and analyze its result This part mainly aims to analyze the process of students planning their own homework and evaluate its result through eight phases:confirming aims,constructing the project group,conforming the thinking of planning,conducting the first research,holding a hearing,conducting the second research,forming and perfecting the homework's written proposal,training.Basing on the investigation and research of the case,the author tries to probe into the uniqueness of students planning their own homework,analyzes the problems existing in the experiment and puts forward suggestions.Part three will make an analysis on the outer supports which are needed for students planning the summer break homework.The investigation finds that students'planning behavior cannot happen without the guidance of teachers,participation of parents,education of school's culture and other social power.Part four mainly focuses on the educational meaning behind students planning the summer break homework.The author will reveal enlightenment from the reflection of students initiative,turnover of educational thinking and the integration of the education ecosystem.
