The statistical content is in chapter 2 of compulsory 3,chapter 1 of elective course 1-2 and chapter 3 of elective course 2-3.With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the difficulty and content of the statistical have increased.It is more and more important in students' study and college entrance examination.Therefore,The study of learning difficulties can accurately understand the situation of students' knowledge of statistics,which is of guiding significance to the study of students' statistical content and the teaching of teachers' statistical contentThis study was conducted in a demonstration high school in Gansu,Qingyang Province to study the following questions:1,The difficulty distribution of knowledge points in statistical content in version A;2 The main difficulties in learning statistics;3,Causes of learning difficulties.In the research process,the author carried on the test and the questionnaire survey to 308 students in senior 1 and 2,and then interviewed 9 math teachers and 12 students,using SPSS software,Excel software and SOLO classification theory to analyze the data,in-depth analysis of interviews and get the following conclusion:1.The overall difficulty of the statistics content is from high to low:Statistical case>variable correlation>sample estimate population>Random sampling;2,the difficulty of statistical knowledge mainly reflects in:independence test and regression equation;The difficulty of statistical knowledge is mainly reflected in:independence test and regression equation;2.Statistical content of the four chapters of learning difficulties;3.The main factors that affect students' learning difficulties are:the difficulty of the knowledge itself,the teacher's teaching method is too little,the students failed to review the difficult content and they seldom use statistical knowledge in life;4.At present,the students are more difficult to understand the statistical knowledge,and they fail to understand the principle and use it flexibly.Finally,according to the results of this study,the author gives some suggestions from the teachers' classroom teaching,students' learning and teaching materials:1.The correlation between variables and statistical cases should be used as the difficulties in the teaching of statistical content;2.In teaching,we should pay attention to the processing of the proportion relation,the reading of the graph information,the application of the complex formula;3.Improve the teaching method,pay attention to the relationship between the knowledge points and the problems,and carry out the teaching test in time.The study of statistical knowledge should pay attention to the understanding of knowledge points,use the method of solving problems flexibly,and review in time;4.On the compilation of teaching materials,not only should the teacher pay attention to the progressive nature of knowledge,but arrange more hours on statistics to help students understand the difficulty of knowledge correctly so as to make up for the lack of using the statistical knowledge to solve the problem.
