The Analysis And Countermeasures On The Current Situation Of Environmental Ethics Educationin Colleges And Universities

As is known to all,the environmental problems have gradually become the spotlight since the industrial revolution.On the one hand,the public pay attention to the environmental problems all the time,while on the other they actively seek for the solutions.And one of the important solutions should be education.For the audiences are educators,the environmental ethics education is highly focused by the public,among which the college students are the most important educational target.Contemporary Chinese college students are not only the so called Intellectuals Group,but also the builders and successors of china's development.Their virtue of the environmental ethic is very important to solve the environmental problems and China sustainable development strategy.Hence,environmental ethics education in colleges and universities is the inevitable requirement for the development of China.And it also has great significance for building eco-civilization and“Beautiful China".Based on the related literature and datum,this essay briefly states the background,the content,the theories found,the necessity and the value of the environmental ethics education,the main contents and core principles of environmental ethics education in Colleges and universities are expounded.Then,the author carries out an investigation through questionnaire and interview to some of the colleges and universities in Xi'an,and gains the primary data.Combined with the data,the essay analyses the current status,the problems and the reasons of the environmental ethics education.According to the researches and surveys,Found unreasonable curriculum,content is not perfect,the mechanism of system needs to be improved,single teaching methods,lack of support,environmental ethics education object qualities of College Environmental Ethics Education,the main reason is that universities and students lack of attention.In the end,the author puts out some strategies.For example,improving the teaching system and the education guarantee system for environmental ethics education;carry out the combination of thematic and traditional education;applying moral narrative to environmental ethics education,pushing a kind of Wilderness Methodology,etc.In order to make a modest contribution to the construction of the theory of environmental ethics education through analysis and research.
